im 15. Everything else on my body is proportioned except my stomach. Ive been reading that doing sit ups doesnt help? it only helps the muscle underneath? Well how do i get rid of the fat on top?

i have the same problem :\ everyone tells me im fine looking but i heard that crunches can help? but i just walk on the treadmill to hope it will go away :\
